Testimonials
I have recently started training with Jeff Patten and I have already seen many improvements. I have seen many strength trainers recently trying to improve my distance running, and no one has been at all as helpful as Jeff has been. My biggest problem was my running form. Just my first time there, he noticed a specific error in my running form that no one else noticed other than myself, and the error that caused me my most recent injury. He has made me a stronger, better athlete and I can’t wait to see the results in my outdoor track season. I feel so much stronger, and honestly, Jeff is the only person I’ve met, who knows what he’s talking about (and I’ve met many people), and he actually cares. The best part about Jeff is that he trains the individual. He is very honest and friendly and I would urge anyone who is looking to become a better athlete to go to ACC because this is the place where you will get results. He is my only recommendation if you’re looking to become a better athlete.

Before I started training with Jeff Patten and ACC I was a 15 year old sophomore athlete. I was just finishing up my first year as varsity quarterback after helping the team to division championship. I knew to get noticed in a small state not known for producing great football athletes I would need to train harder and do different things from other quarterbacks. Jeff transformed me from a pure pocket passer who was not that strong to a dual threat quarterback that teams had to game plan for my running ability as well as the passing game. Jeff knocked down my 40 yard dash time by .6 seconds in less than a year of training with him. Jeff has helped me with learning the proper ways to train as well as incorporating the proper nutrition. I would recommend Jeff and ACC to all young athletes because in about two years I have went from an ordinary athlete to getting scouted by Division 1-AA programs and being considered one of the best players in the state

“Before I started working with Jeff Patten, the owner of ACC I was a fifteen year old athlete who played for various baseball all star teams as well as AAU baseball. I was entering my freshman year at Bishop Hendicken High School and I knew I would have to do some extra things to set myself apart from the ordinary player. I met Jeff in February of 07 and began to work out with him shortly thereafter. It did not take Jeff too long for him or I to realize that the training I had previously done was not only incorrect but potentially harmful to the development of my body and the goals I had set for myself. Jeff has unbelievable knowledge of sports training and nutrition which sets him apart from other facilities. Jeff is always bringing something new to the table to challenge me physically and mentally. My own personal development has changed in leaps and bounds. My coordination, flexibility, speed and overall strength have increased. Jeff also has shown me the importance of nutrition and is helping me in that area also. I strongly recommend ACC to all athletes who are serious in playing at the next level.”

“I began working with Jeff Patten, the owner of ACC approximately 2 years ago. When I first met with Jeff I was coming off of a knee injury that I had sustained in soccer. He taught me proper stretching techniques to both heal my injury and prevent further injuries from occurring. In working with Jeff, he not only helped me with my strength and agility, he also taught me how proper nutrition and having a positive attitude aids in physical strength. Over time, working every week with Jeff, I have noticed a tremendous increase in my stamina and strength during a game. I have a lot of respect for Jeff and ACC and recommend it to other athletes that are looking for that extra edge.”

“My daughter’s time under Coach Jeff Patten may have only been one brief spring Rhode Island – Olympic Development Program season, but it was one that became a turning-point in her soccer life. She came to this team with a desire to learn but with a lack of confidence in her ability. She finished the season with a belief in herself and a hunger to compete that we had never seen before. Jeff’s coaching style was one that showed her that she could compete. He guided her with a quiet style that allowed her progression without feeling the pressure that so often comes with competitive teams. This feeling extended throughout the team where he pulled a group of girls together (many of who were meeting for the first time), taught them how to bring their game to the next level and be competitive with Region One state teams. I would not hesitate to have my daughter participate in a program or on a team that Jeff is involved in. He always puts what is best for his players first and gives 110% while doing it.”
